What are Templesox eyewear sleeves?

Eyewear accessories that add colors, designs or branding to eyewear while improving comfort and fit. They are soft and slip easily onto eyeglass and sunglass arms, and they are functional rather than decorative only — different from a lanyard, hooks or tip covers. There are two lines: patented eyewear sleeves that cover the full temple, and soft tips that cover the end of the temple, from the space above the ear to the end.

What are temples?

The arms of your eyewear. The parts that open and close and that fit over your ears. They start at the part of the frame that holds the lens.

How do Templesox fit on temples?

With the temple slightly folded, approach the temple tip from the small point — either the top or the bottom of the tip — with the open end of the product. Slide the sleeve up the temple and over the hinge to the front of the frame, then open the temple for wear to make it secure.

Full sleeve sizes

Small has a 2/16" (3.175 mm) opening, large has a 7/16" (11.11 mm) opening. End-to-end length is 4 7/8" (124 mm) for adults. Child sleeves are a touch shorter at 4 3/4" (121 mm).

Soft tip sizes
What if I order large soft tips and they slip off?

They can be exchanged for small. Email customer-service@templesox.com.

How do I put soft tips on my frames?

Approach the temple tip from the small point, at the top or bottom, with the open end of the product, and slide it onto the temple. Soft tips stretch snug over approximately a third of the temple. Full sleeves stretch up to the hinge — slide the sleeve over the hinge and open the temple, which secures it to the frame for wear.

Are Templesox removable?

Yes, simply slip them on or off your eyewear.

Do Templesox work with sunglasses and eyeglasses?

Yes, for both.

What are Templesox made of?

A spandex blend. There are patents to make them from any material and other materials are being tested, but right now the spandex blend works best.

Do Templesox fit adult and children's frames?

Yes. When selecting the color you also select the fit for adult or children size frames. The children's size is a touch shorter than adult, which makes up for the difference in length between adult and child temples.

What is the difference between small and large Templesox?

Templesox are sold in large for adults and children, and in small for adults and children. Large fits taller or thicker temples.
